We are a small organization of people dedicated to giving the city-run pound animals another chance at a forever home.
We do not have our own shelter, the dogs and cats in the pound do not belong to Halo.
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) .
Halo volunteers take photos of the pets in the pound, take them to adoption events, and hold fundraisers to help pay for spay/neuter program and any other expenses that help make the pound pets more comfortable while they are waiting for adoption/rescue.
Create an alert, and we'll notify you every time a new pet comes in who meets your criteria.

Halo For Animals promotes adoption from the city's animal control facilityin Sullivan, MO. Halo helps get these animals adopted through advertising and also holding adoption days outside of the animal control officer's work hours. We do not have our own shelter and we do not do any kind of intake either for the pound or from individuals.
Additional adoption info
Adoption fee from the city is $30 for any dog/cat over the age of 4 months(rabies vaccination included). Cats/dogs younger than 4 months - city adoption fee is $10.
We usually cannot provide medical or temperment background of any of these animals as they are strays. Very little vetting is done prior to adoption. Halo For Animals offers a half-price(up to $50) spay/neuter certificate to help with the state-required spay or neuter.
