Our Mission is to find loving families for homeless dogs. Our emphasis is on special needs dogs, adult dogs, dogs with handicaps, whether physical or psychological, dogs recovering from injuries, abuse and/or neglect. We will continue to care for these forgotten ones and provide love and care until they find their forever homes. The dogs for whom adoption does not seem likely will have sanctuary and love for as long as they live.

Additional adoption info
Step 1- Complete Adoption Application
All Companion Canines pets are inside only. Our goal is to place dogs in the most compatible home possible. Our questionnaire is designed to help acquaint us with the potential adopter and make the best pet-to-home match.
Step 2- Home Visit and Meet & Greet
We know you can't judge a book by the cover-or a pet by a picture. Once an application is approved, we set up a Meet & Greet and Home Visit to see how the dog interacts with the potential adopter.
Step 3- Adoption Fee and Adoption Contract
All pets are vet current at time of adoption. Spay/Neuter (if pet is not already altered) and microchip is included in adoption fee of $200.00 for dogs. Adoption fee for cats includes feline leukemia test/vaccines and is $100.00. Microchip for cats is not included but can be done prior to adoption at our cost of $25.00. Adoption Contract requires pet be returned to Companion Canines if at anytime he/she can not be kept by adopter. Pet cannot be re-homed or taken to any shelter.
