VRRA was started in 2003 because there was a dire need for rabbit rescue. We take in abandoned, neglected and/or injured rabbits. We spay and neuter, provide veterinary care and adopt into good homes. Unadoptable rabbits are kept in sanctuary. We are all volunteer. We have a shelter and a rabbit supply store. We are always needing volunteers especially to help with the bunnies.
