Hanaeleh is a non-profit horse rescue in Orange County. We rescue horses that are slaughterbound or who are abused or neglected, rehabilitate them, and then find them new homes. We are not a retirement home, but do try to find companion homes for horses who are unrideable.
All of Hanaeleh's horses are given appropriate farrier care every six weeks and are vaccinated twice a year. They all are given appropriate veterinarian care as needed.
Hanaeleh takes in horses from all of Southern California and adopts them out across the western United States.
Additional adoption info
All horses that are rideable from Hanaeleh have an adoption fee of $1,000. Companion horses are adopted out with no adoption fee.
All new adoptees must sign an adoption agreement with a first right of refusal and a full refund of the adoption fee.
