Additional adoption info
We have a two page adoption application, which can be downloaded from our
website. (www.ruderanch.org/adopt/adopt.html). You can either fax the
completed application back to us at 410.798.9568, or bring it with you when you
visit.
You can come visit our cats and kittens during the week by appointment. Just
call 410.798.9559 or email adopt@ruderanch.org to make an appointment. The
shelter is open to the public on weekends from noon - 3 by appointment.
There is a $125 adoption fee. This covers the cat or kitten's spay or neuter
surgery, basic vet exam, testing for FIVand FELV, microchipping, treatment for fleas, ticks,
worms, earmites and other internal parasites, at least one distemper vaccine and
a rabies vaccine if the cat is old enough.
If everything works out, you can take your new family member home with you on
the same day. You will need a sturdy carrier to take him/her home in.
