Cherished Cockers Inc. is an Ohio based, all volunteer group of Cocker Spaniel lovers who help Cockers Spaniels receive the lives that they deserve.
We are funded by donations and fund raising events which goes directly to helping the Cocker Spaniels that have been rescued by Cherished Cockers Rescue.
We do not have a shelter; instead all of our Cocker Spaniels we rescue are living in foster homes.
Cherished Cockers and our volunteers are dedicated to rescuing, whenever possible abandoned, abused, displaced, injured, and surrendered Cocker Spaniels regardless of location, age or physical condition.
We then provide them with veterinary care and eventual placement in forever homes where they will be treated as family and receive the love that they deserve.
We also serve our community and adopters by educating and encouraging responsible pet ownership and the need for spaying and neutering.
Cherished Cockers does not discriminate against anyone for reasons of age, race, religion, politics, gender or sexual orientation.

Additional adoption info
You must fill out an adoption application, your references will be checked and if ok, we will schedule a home visit by one of our volunteers. You will then meet the dog and make sure you are compatable.
If all is well you will then fill out an adoption contract.
The dog will be picked up at the foster home where it is located, we do not ship our dogs.
We may be able to help with transport to get the dog to you.
Our adoption fees range from $200-$300 per adult dog to cover vetting and expenses, and discounts are given for older or special need dogs.
