Winddancer Rescue & Rehab

Animal rescue in Loma Rica, CA

I have rescued animals AND young people for years. My wish here is to offer rescue, rehab., or permanent home for animals; & education & theraputic use for the young people in this area. Both are badly needed here, it would be a good community service; it would be the best use of this property & raise environmental awareness. I'm am just in the beginning stages of set-up & can use any advice, volunteers, mentors, etc., It's big dreams & a bit overwhelming, but would like to see this fullfilled to its successful, rewarding potential.

Rescue FAQs

mainly Yuba, Butte, Placer, Sacramento, Nevada counties; and ANYWHERE there is a GOOD, LOVING, & APROPRIATE HOME.
We are in the process of setting up appropriate habitats & soon can take in animals that need temporary rescue, ER rescue (fire, flood) or need to relocate, (including squirrels), orphaned or injured wild animals; & later, , larger animals that need to relocate, displaced from overcrowed facilities or aged out of circuses.
Any desert tortises, turtles, will have a good home here as they have been a passion of mine.

Additional adoption info

I will advertise pets that are up for adoption. No fees, but donations are welcomed. Pets will have to have vaccinations etc. and adopters will have to agree to keep up their medical requirements up to date. Adopters will be interviewed for ability, needed requirements, & responsibility. They will be offered, on certain animals, a return offer.
