We are a non-profit, 501C-3 companion animal, all volunteer group. The animals are in foster-based situations, though we have several dogs in local kennels until a foster home can be found. We currently work closely with 4 animal control facilities in the area. When an animal has not been reclaimed by his/her owner, instead of being killed, RPAW works with placing them within the group. We will only euthanize an animal because of serious, untreatable injuries or illnesses or when an animal shows severe, dangerous aggression towards humans.

Additional adoption info
RPAW has a contract and application each potential adopter is required to fill out. After review and interview, the adoption counselor will determine if this dog or cat would be a good fit for an adopter's lifestyle, home, energy level and prior experience. There is an adoption fee to cover the veterinarian's fees. We can not adopt out one of the companion animals to anyone under 21 years of age. If you live in a rental property, there has to be proof that animals are allowed in your residence. There will be a home visit on some of our animals.
