Fresh Start Horse Rescue is an all-volunteer, family-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a Colorado nonprofit corporation. We have been rescuing horses since 2005.
Our mission is to provide a fresh start for horses that are unwanted, abused, in danger of sale for slaughter or simply in a situation where their loving owners can no longer take care of them. We rescue, rehabilitate, re-socialize, care for, train and find permanent homes for all breeds of horses, and we have a special interest in abused mustangs.
