We are a no kill shelter that is actually part of a veterinary hospital. Born of the desire to not euthanize pets for reasons that are no fault of the pet, we house aniamls until the right home can be found for them. WE treat every one like our own pets and they get any medical attention they need right on site. One dog was even here for four years before finding the right home. We have an acre enclosed exercise pen with a large sandbox for digging and a wading pool in the summer. Plenty of rawhides and chew toys to help with entertainment too. Social skills are assessed and problems worked with to make each dog a better citizen than they were when they came in. We have a waiting list of pets needing our services as well. Generally house 10-15 dogs and 8-10 cats. Waiting list of 25 dogs and 6-10 cats at any given time.
