Shelter FAQs

Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter operates as a "quality of life" shelter, and the devoted workers are committed to making sure that every animal in their care has exactly that. All adult animals are spayed and neutered prior to being made available for adoption. In addition, all animals receive all necessary shots, wormings, and other medical treatments. All would-be adoptive families are carefully screened before being allowed to take home any pet. In this way, each adopted animal is assured of a good and loving home.
