Granite Siberian Husky Rescue

Dog rescue in Richmond, IL

Animals here have adequate exercise and personalized care unlike some traditional shelters. They are situated in a farm environment with necessary stimulation to support stable mental health and develop their personalities whil awaiting their forever home. Medical and aged fosters our specialty. Affiliated with Husky Rescue Alliance support group. Rescuing a dog is just not saving it from euthanasia to live it's life in a cage or cramped pen with little to know ventilation or stimulation. We concentrate on helping the animal adjust to it's changing environment, stabilize it's medical needs, and assure it has a safe, nurturing environment to live in while awaiting adoption. Feel free to visit our shelter upon appointment. Web site should be up by Jan. 1st. We are new and operating on our own funds at this point pending 5013C approval. We aim to make a difference in placing post heartworm recovered dogs and senior companion's needing placement. We are in dire need of funds to rercover medical expenses for both our housing assistance program and hospital costs. Please send any donations for tax deductible letter to Granite Siberian Husky Rescue 20216 Harmony Road, Marengo, IL 60152
