River City Community Animal Hospital

Cat rescue in Jacksonville, FL

Identical to above; our joint primary goals are to provide the highest possible standard of spay and neuter medical/surgical services to our patients at professional fees all can afford, AND to equally provide education about responsible pet care and the tragedy of euthanizing millions of pets in our country each year.

WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER; our few adoptees are always fostered by our staff and board of directors and volunteers and individual arrangements are made for introductions and adoptions.
WE ARE NOT A RESCUE GROUP; we are a spay/neuter organization and mobile hospital with some very limited and special case adoptions only.

Additional adoption info

We are not primarily an adoption agency; we are a LOWER FEE, NOT FOR PROFIT spay and neuter mobile hospital. We travel to areas in our region where our services are needed. We generally do adoptions only on a very small number of special cases at any one time, primarily cats or kittens. Our current adoptees could be seen by appointment and through internet contact on an individual basis only, by contacting us through our website at www.rccah.org. We are not a shelter and do not accept homeless animals from the general public, but work exclusively with local rescue groups with whom we have a relationship.
