WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL SHELTER IN CT. We advertise in CT only because we have weekly transport available to most NE states, and CT is one of our main rescue dog dropoff locations. NE families looking for a rescue dog would not always search for a dog located in Missouri.
Our mission is to save the lives of homeless dogs wherever there is a need. We advertise in CT only because we have licensed, affordable weekly transport available for our rescue dogs to most of the NE states.
Back in 2008 when we started this, our research showed an overpopulation of homeless dogs in some states, and an underpopulation of homeless dogs in other states. Thousands of good, adoptable dogs die in shelters every day across the country because of this. We are working to close that gap and together, we can save precious lives while providing you with the dog you've been looking for. Our hope and prayer is that every homeless dog gets a good home, no matter where the dog is located, and every home who wants a good dog will have one, no matter where that home may be. This is our life's mission. When you adopt from us, you are truly saving a life!
