Additional adoption info
We currently foster cats from the Western PA Humane Society and from some outside sources. All cats are tested for FELV, vaccinated (including rabies), treated for fleas, earmites and parasites and spayed/neutered PRIOR to adoption. All cats are placed at local PetsMart stores for adoption.
Potential adoptor must fill out a questionnaire. Landlords are contacted to make sure renter is allowed pets. If adoptor already owns animals, vet is contacted to make sure all cats/dogs are spayed/neutered and are up to date on vaccinations including leukemia testing. No declaw is permitted and all cats must be kept indoors. A home visit is performed prior to adoption to meet potential adoptors.
Adoption fee is $75 for all cats/kittens.
