Rescue FAQs

We mainly serve the city of Los Angeles and also the Los Angeles county. We rescue animals from the city shelters, help them if they need medical care. We also train and prepare them to find good homes.

Additional adoption info

+ The Lange Foundation requires possible adopters to complete a two page adoption application form. Based on that information we decide if the home and the pet are compatible. We do not do same-day adoptions.
+ We do do a home check if you are adopting a dog.
+ If all the above is complete and approved we proceed to fill out a contract with the adopter.
+ We do have a fee and it depends on the age of the pet you are choosing to adopt. Please call us for more information about our adoption fees.
+ All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on flea preventative. Cats are FIV & FELV tested.
