We are a national 501c3 non-profit rescue comprised of volunteers all over the United States and Canada that place Catahoula Leopard Dogs and mixes into loving, caring, and permanent homes. These dogs come from high kill shelters or owner surrenders and we do our best to save them all, but because of over population and back yard breeders, we will never be able to keep up. The good news is, we will never give up either. We need Fosters and Volunteers, every hand counts in saving lives! Scroll down to look at our pet list below and PLEASE save a life today!

Additional adoption info
People wishing to adopt a dog through Catahoula Rescue SE must first complete an Adoption Application. The Application is extensive, please answer all the questions, otherwise it will hold up the application process. We do reserve the right to deny anyone for any reason. When the adoption application is complete the Rescue Representative will review the application, call all references, discuss parts of your answers with you, and arrange for a home visit during the application approval process. After you have completed the application and submitted it, please be patient--it may be several days before you hear back from a representative. Most CRI Volunteers have jobs during the day, as well as families and their own dogs to tend to in the evenings. This is a labor of love for us all, and we work very hard to respond as quickly as possible to potential adopters.
