Animals under the care and custody of Tulare County Animal Services Division are sheltered at the County’s Animal Care and Adoptions facility. The facility has indoor/outdoor kennel runs for dogs, a combined cat room and outdoor cattery, as well as spaces for non-domestic animals and livestock.

Please come visit our shelter Monday through Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm at 14131 Avenue 256 in Visalia or call the shelter at 559-636-4050 for more information. The adoption fee is $30 - $110 depending on whether the animal came in already sterilized and if the adopter lives in the county.
