Helping Hands For Little Paws (HHLP) is a non-profit Foster care based group that rescues companion animals from local shelters and our streets. These animals have been abandoned, lost their homes or are facing a death sentence. We then place them in permanent homes where they will be loved and cared for.
Helping Hands began in 1995 and with the help of dedicated volunteers and public support we were able to rescue and place thousands of animals over the years. Our main goal is to educate Arkansans about spaying and neutering, as well as heartworm disease.

Helping Hands for Little Paws serves central Arkansas-mainly Saline and Pulaski County. We adopt to anywhere in Arkansas. Occasionally, we will adopt out of state, but adopter must be willing to drive to Arkansas as we do not send our animals on transport.
Additional adoption info
We have an application based adoption process. All our animals have been heartworm tested (dogs), FIV/Feleuk (cats), altered and given shots. If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please fill out an online application at www.helpinglittlepaws.com.
