Fuzzy Pawz Shih Tzu Rescue is a small group of volunteers and foster homes who dedicate their time and energy to saving Shih Tzus and Shih Tzu mixes. We take in owner turn-ins, pull from shelters and also take in mill dogs. We are a 501c3 non profit rescue and rely solely on donations and adoption fees for funding.

Fuzzy Pawz Shih Tzu Rescue of Ohio is a small group of foster homes in Ohio. We adopt our Shih Tzus to mainly Ohio residents but out of state adoptions are not out of the question. It is the responsibility of the new adoptive home to arrange transportation.
Additional adoption info
If you are interested in adoption, please email the foster parent listed on the bio for an application . Your application will be reviewed by our board of directors, references called as well as your vet reference. If all these pass, a home visit will be scheduled. We strongly suggest that the applicant ask as many questions about the dog as possible before the adoption takes place.
