PFFSAA started as a mother/daughter habit of taking in unwanted and abandoned cats. We became a no-kill, non-profit shelter for felines when it became obvious that we needed more help with food, supplies, volunteers, finances, etc. We take in abandoned, stray, injured, and/or surrendered cats/kittens, provide them medical care and love, and try to match them to permanent homes. We believe that there is a home for every feline, but it might take awhile before that home finds us.
We hope to eventually work with our Animal Shelter and other local groups interested in TNR as well. We also do microchipping for the public, dogs and cats only. If you can't make it to an event, please call us and we will meet you.
While we are not 501c3, please note that we are non-profit and in the process of becoming 501c3.

Additional adoption info
Our adoption fee is $70.00. This covers up-to-date shots, spay/neuter, complete vet-check, microchip, 1-month flea/tick prevention, and 1-month insurance . We have an adoption application, also available online, that we use to help us match homes, and we require a $30.00 deposit to hold specific felines with the balance due the day the animal is to go to its new home. New owners must sign a contract that specifies terms such as keeping the animal indoors, what to do if it doesn't work out or something happens, etc., and we do a home followup visit to be sure everything is working out.
