The Collie and Sheltie Rescue Association of Southeast Virginia also known as the Love of Collies and Shelties Rescue of SEVA (LOCS) is a 501(c)3 not for profit group dedicated to finding loving homes for collies and shelties who, through no fault of their own, have found themselves lost, homeless, abandoned and/or neglected. All of our dogs are fostered with volunteer families as one of their own until the forever home is found. LOCS Rescue provides complete medical care for all of the dogs prior to adoption. The foster families also assess temperaments and work with their foster dogs on any behavioral/training issues. We love and know the collie and sheltie breeds - their personalities, grooming needs and health concerns. With over 25 years of experience we are here to help.
