Whiskers and Wags-4-Adoption is a 501(c)(3), all volunteer, non-profit organization. We are a small group with 3 foster homes. We pull animals from the Jersey City Shelter, Perth Amboy Shelter, Associated Humane. We also accept turn-ins and strays. We are members of the New Hope Program in New York. All our animals are tested, vet checked and spayed/neutered if age permits. We participate in the NJ State Spay/Neuter Program. Animals taken in by Whiskers and Wags stay with us until adopted. Some will remain with us. The cats are not caged in the foster homes. In one foster home, the cats live with dogs.
