Additional adoption info
To adopt a dog you need to bring proof of home ownership or your Landlord's contact information.
The adoption fee is $175 for dogs (cats are less) which includes Rabies, Distemper and kennel cough vaccinations. A heartworm and Lyme test and preventative. And Spay or Neuter. If the dog is not altered when you choose to adopt, the shelter will arrange the spay/neuter for you. The $175 is paid up front and the spay/neuter deposit is only returned with proof from a vet that it was done elsewhere.
If you chose to adopt but can not bring the dog home that day there is an $80 deposit to "hold".
