The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is dedicated to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need.
HSTB is a Managed Admission shelter that works to help stop the needless euthanizing of adoptables animals in the Tampa Bay area. We now take owned adoptable dogs and cats by appointment only. We also transfer more than 3,000 dogs and cats from high-euthanasia facilities to our shelter each year. We do not euthanize a dog or cat to make room for another one.
