Despite our small size, the Macon County Humane Society is a progressive, home-based animal rescue group that does not euthanize animals for lack of an adoptive home. We think that every animal deserves a loving, forever home and promote animal adoption, spaying and neutering as well as humane treatment for all animals.

The Macon County Humane Society requires an adoption contract on all of the animals we place and has reasonable adoption fees for new forever friends.
