Meet Holly. Holly is a Chihuahua mix about 18 months old, and a light weight at 7 lbs. Holly is crate trained, good on the leash, and rides well in the car. Meet Elizabeth! This very gorgeous girl is a pure ray of sunshine. Elizabeth is about 1yr old and 50lbs. She is the sweetest girl and really so well behaved. Elizabeth is good with other dogs and does love to play and have some fun. She is an active girl and loves to use her hound nose to enjoy all of her surroundings. Elizabeth is outgoing and friendly. She is always welcoming to new people and has so much love to give. She was found abandoned in the woods, scared and hungry. Poor girl. It is time to show her the good life. Elizabeth is housetrained and crate trained. She is a healthy girl. Elizabeth is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped. She is currently in Louisiana, but transport is available to the northeast area at no additional fee. If you are interested, please email April at apr0227@msn.com.

Rescue FAQs

Mutts4rescue was recently formed by a group of volunteers from New England, TN, GA, LA, TX & OH, who were already working together with purebred rescues, to find homes for those "other" just as special dogs. We take in owner surrenders and work with many shelters in the south where 1,000s of dogs are put down daily simply because there is no room. A lack of spay/neuter laws as well as a lack of education results in severe over population and causes us to have to save "one dog at a time". We are a group who relies on foster homes and donations. We rarely cover our costs. We are in desperate need of more foster homes. Most dogs spend 2-4 weeks with you while they find their new family. Without foster homes our dogs would never make it out of the shelters.
Our adoption fee is $425 for young/adult dogs unless otherwise stated and $475 for puppies and $275 for seniors. All dogs are healthy unless stated in the bio. No surprises!! Mutts4rescue is a volunteer only rescue group who utilizes a network of foster homes to adopt our dogs to all areas of New England. We do not have an actual shelter location. We rely on boarding, foster homes and donations 100%.

Additional adoption info

THANK YOU for choosing to ADOPT!!!

Before Applying to adopt please consider the following:

* Are all household members in agreement about the decision to adopt and willing to play an active role in the adoption process?

* Are your current pets spayed or neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations?

* If for any reason whatsoever the adopter(s) cannot or will not keep an animal, the animal must be returned to Mutts4rescue.

* An application is required to start the adoption process; there is no fee to apply. Submission of an application does not guarantee the adoption of a dog.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; all dogs are fostered in private homes. You will need to apply before meeting a dog and not all dogs are local and available for meetings. Our adoption fee is $425 for young/adult dogs unless otherwise stated and $475 for puppies and $275 for seniors.

We are all volunteers and have jobs, families, fosters and pets of our own to care for. We do our best to reply as quickly as possible. Please be patient, but if you have not heard back within 72 hrs, please inquire again by emailing Bethany at BethHickey@gmail.com.

Mutts 4 Rescue, Inc. Adoption Application.

Here is our application for adoption. Please cut and paste the application into the body of your email to Bethany at BethHickey@gmail.com. If you are unsure how to do this, simply email Bethany and she'll walk you through it.

We understand that our application is lengthy and a bit tedious; please have patience, as we would like to make sure you and the pet you choose are a perfect match.

The speed at which your application is processed for adoption is dependent largely on how thoroughly and specifically you answer each question. Please do not leave any applicable question blank. Please include a detailed explanation for any question where you are asked to elaborate an answer.

If you are married or currently living with a significant other, that person’s information must be included where the application asks for Co-Applicant information. You must be at least 21 years of age to submit an adoption application (Applicant & Co-Applicant).

We are not first come, first served. Mutts4rescue focuses on finding good matches between dogs and families to ensure lifelong adoptions. Mutts4rescue reserves the right to refuse adoption to anyone without disclosing the reasons.

Story
Meet Double Stuf Oreo and Reese’s Puff, an adorable bonded pair of female guinea pigs looking for a loving forever home together. These two were rescued from an abandoned apartment, so while we don’t know much about their past, we can tell they’ve formed a strong, inseparable bond. Oreo is the more curious and outgoing of the pair, always eager to explore and investigate. Reese’s Puff is a bit more reserved, but she’s incredibly sweet and gains confidence from having Oreo by her side. Their personalities balance each other beautifully, and they can often be found snuggled up or chatting softly in their cozy hideout. Because of their close bond, Oreo and Reese must be adopted as a pair. They’ll thrive in a quiet, stable environment with a spacious enclosure, plenty of hay, cozy hideouts, and daily veggie time. They are currently healthy, eating well, and slowly learning to trust people more each day. Whether you're an experienced guinea pig parent or a first-timer ready to learn, these girls will make a gentle and loving addition to your home. If you’re ready to give them the fresh start they deserve, reach out to meet them! If you are interested in Double Stuf Oreo & Reese's Puff, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with them at any time. Feel free to visit our website, www.potterleague.org, for more information on adopting from us.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 870-577-3744. Honabee and her litter mates... Born right here at Pitter Pat Junction, these little ones have grown up surrounded by love, safety, and gentle hands — and it shows. They’ve never known fear, only kindness. Each one is already bright-eyed, affectionate, and full of tail wags. Their mama is an exceptional dog — smart, playful, and endlessly loving — and her pups are following closely in her pawprints. Confident, curious, and happy to be wherever you are, they’re already showing all the signs of becoming wonderful family companions. When full grown, they’re expected to have a moderate energy level — playful and ready for adventure, but just as content to snuggle in for quiet time. If you’re looking for a puppy raised with love from day one, this litter will melt your heart the moment you meet them. Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application.
