Before Applying to adopt please consider the following:

* Are all household members in agreement about the decision to adopt and willing to play an active role in the adoption process?

* Are your current pets spayed or neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations?

* If for any reason whatsoever the adopter(s) cannot or will not keep an animal, the animal must be returned to Mutts4rescue.

* An application is required to start the adoption process; there is no fee to apply. Submission of an application does not guarantee the adoption of a dog.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; all dogs are fostered in private homes. You will need to apply before meeting a dog and not all dogs are local and available for meetings. Our adoption fee is $425 for young/adult dogs unless otherwise stated and $475 for puppies and $275 for seniors.

We are all volunteers and have jobs, families, fosters and pets of our own to care for. We do our best to reply as quickly as possible. Please be patient, but if you have not heard back within 72 hrs, please inquire again by emailing Bethany at BethHickey@gmail.com.

We understand that our application is lengthy and a bit tedious; please have patience, as we would like to make sure you and the pet you choose are a perfect match.

The speed at which your application is processed for adoption is dependent largely on how thoroughly and specifically you answer each question. Please do not leave any applicable question blank. Please include a detailed explanation for any question where you are asked to elaborate an answer.

If you are married or currently living with a significant other, that person’s information must be included where the application asks for Co-Applicant information. You must be at least 21 years of age to submit an adoption application (Applicant & Co-Applicant).

We are not first come, first served. Mutts4rescue focuses on finding good matches between dogs and families to ensure lifelong adoptions. Mutts4rescue reserves the right to refuse adoption to anyone without disclosing the reasons.
