We serve all of Craven and Pamlico Counties, plus Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. You do not need to reside in those areas to adopt.
Additional adoption info
Adoption fee for dogs is $125.00 and for cats is $80.00.
This includes a microchip and registration, a rabies vaccination and certificate if the animal is over 3 months old, distemper/parvo and bordetella vaccinations for dogs, FVRCP for cats, and a spay or neuter.
We offer a First Responders/Active Military discount once a year with a valid ID.
Adoption fees can be paid in cash, or with a credit/debit card. There is a convenience fee if a debit/credit is used.
There is a ‘playroom’ with dog toys and kitty furniture for you to enjoy meeting your new friend. We ask that you be here at least 30 minutes before closing in order to become acquainted, and to allow adequate time to complete the adoption paperwork.
We gladly accept donations! Monetary donations are used to purchase heartworm test kits, tick and flea preventives, antibiotics and other medications, toys, bedding, and other extras. We also accept donations of gently used towels, collars and leashes, beds, bowls, crates, etc.
