The Animal Awareness Society

Animal shelter in Randleman, NC

The Animal Awareness Society (TAAS) is a non-profit, no kill, all-volunteer organization formed in 2003.
TAAS strives to end the unnecessary suffering and deaths of cats and kittens, dogs and puppies that may have been abandoned or are feral (not socialized) in our communities. TAAS actively works to reduce the number of stray, homeless, and feral cats through low cost spay/neuter, foster and adoption programs, pet care education, and T-N-R (Trap-Neuter-Return).

TAAS consists solely of volunteers and our foster animals are housed in our Animal Sanctuary and foster homes. TAAS provides education and on the importance of spaying and neutering all animals as the primary way to deal with pet over-population and needless euthanasia of abandoned, unwanted or homeless animals.

If you would like to help in our efforts, please call 336-498-6013.
