We are working hard to end pet overpopulation by setting an example for our community! All dogs, cats and rabbits are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, and we have begun a spay/neuter program "No More Litters" for the pets belonging to low income families. We work very hard to get our adoptable animals into good homes as quickly as possible.

Additional adoption info
Our adoption fees vary, according to species, size, age and other issues. Discounts apply in some cases. We consider these to be good values after you take into consideration how much veterinary care goes into each animal before placement. Every dog, cat and rabbit is spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Our dogs are also heartworm tested if appropriate and started on heartworm preventative, examined for fleas & treated with a monthly preventative, vaccinated for Bordatella, rabies (unless too young), and DHLP, dewormed, and microchipped. All animals come with an adoption packet which includes their health record.
We do require that you fill out an application, and wait patiently for at least 24 hours while our committee goes over it. In almost all cases, you'll be required to come visit the animal. We will do out of town adoptions, but you must comply with the above conditions. In some cases, applications may be pre-approved via email, fax or mail, so that you may pick up your new pet in one visit.
