Additional adoption info
(1) Select an Animal:
Once you select an animal you are interested in, you will need to complete an application form. If you have any specific questions about the application or the animal, please contact us via email.
(2) Application Review:
We will review your application and contact your references. This process can take up to three weeks, and we appreciate your patience during this time. If we identify a potential match, we will schedule a meet-and-greet and a home visit accordingly to ensure the animal is placed in a safe and secure environment.
Please Note: We reserve the right to refuse an adoption if we feel the match is not ideal for our animal. We also reserve the right to keep the reasons for denied applications within our organization.
(3) Finalizing the Adoption:
When finalizing an adoption, we will ask you to sign a legally-binding contract with The Fuzzy Pet Foundation (TFPF), review all medical records, and pay an adoption fee.
(4) Releasing the Animal:
Once all requirements are fulfilled, the animal will be released to you.
Please Note: If for any reason you are unable to keep or provide adequate care for the animal, you must return him/her to The Fuzzy Pet Foundation (TFPF). Our animals are NOT to be transferred, sold, or given to a third party.
