Happy Labs Rescue is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization who rescues Labrador Retrievers.
We are Ambassadors to Rally to Rescue from Purnia.
Our dogs come from shelters, owners who no longer can, or will, provide for them and, all too often, strays that are never searched for.
We evaluate the dogs' health and temperament and place the Labs with new adoptive families.
The rescued Lab goes directly to a veterinarian for a spay/neuter, vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment including heartworm treatment if needed.
Many of these Labs have been neglected, not only in a nutritional/medical sense, but also in a psychological/emotional sense.
This socialization process promotes the dog's confidence, willingness to learn and trust. For many Labs, this is the first love and kindness they have ever known.
100% of your donations goes to caring for our animals, we have no administrative costs.
If you would prefer to make a payment directly to our vet to help pay our bill there, please email us @ happylabs@comcast.net

Additional adoption info
Our adoption fees range from $125 -$300 depending on the amount of veterinary costs incurred.
We get labs healthy, up to date on all shots, heartworm tested, on monthly preventative and spay/neutered. Depending on when we receive them and when they are adopted , we try to work on housetraining and house manners.
