True Blue Animal Rescue

Animal rescue in Brenham, TX

True Blue Animal Rescue (T-Bar) was created in January 2004 in an effort to educate people about caring for animals and to provide alternative care for animals when their owners are no longer able to support them.

True Blue Animal Rescue is a non profit organization dedicated to helping all animals in need.

True Blue Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non profit organization that takes in abused, neglected or abandoned animals, rehabilitates them and finds them great new homes. We educate the public on overpopulation and provide support by spaying animals for people who could not otherwise afford to do so.

We offer an educational program at our facility in Washington, TX that teaches children about proper animal care, develops compassion and empathy and builds self esteem in children so they will become informed pet owners and future advocates for animals. We call this program ABLE (Animals Bridge Love and Education).

Additional adoption info

Adopting T-Bar dogs and cats:

T-Bar’s dogs and cats will be spayed and neutered before being adopted. The $110 donation fee for dogs and the $75 donation fee for cats helps cover the cost of the spaying and neutering the animals and includes a one-year membership in T-Bar - a $25 value. Membership and donation fees help us pay vet bills for our animals (the average vet cost to TBAR for one animal is $150-200). Any dog or cat you adopt will be spayed or neutered, wormed and have all his or her shots.

If you would like more information about adopting from T-Bar, please contact us at (936) 878-2349 or send us an email to help@t-bar.org. If you are interested in adopting or fostering one of our dogs or cats, you will need to complete and send the Foster/Adopt Application to help@t-bar.org.

If you cannot adopt please consider fostering. We are always looking for foster homes to help give these dogs and cats individual attention and lots of love.
