Rescue FAQs

Arizona Greyhound and Animal Rescue Fund DBA Arizona Heartfelt Hounds is now known by a new name. We are still a non-profit, all volunteer 501(c)(3) corporation We are located in Tucson, AZ. And our Mission is the same: Enriching our community and the lives of sighthounds through adoption, companion programs and education. Vision A world where every sighthound is valued and has a loving forever home. Guiding Principles: We act in the best interest of sighthound breeds. We operate from a foundation of honesty and integrity. We believe in educating the community about sighthounds and humane care. We support, encourage and welcome an active volunteer base that shares our passion and vision.
Mainly greater Tucson, Arizona and Pima County, southern Maricopa, Pinal, and Santa Cruz Counties. We will consider adopting dogs to adopters in other Southwestern States as well.

Additional adoption info

Please contact us about our adoption fees, which includes neuter/spay, dental cleaning, deworming, blood work, all vaccinations and microchipping. Dogs are adopted on a 5 day foster to adopt process after application and a successful home check and approval.
