Furever Friends Pet Rescue Inc.

Animal rescue in Covington, GA

Furever Friends Pet Rescue is a 501c3 charitable non-profit organization made up of volunteers dedicated to finding homes for unwanted pets. The organization is licensed and inspected by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.

Furever Friends Pet Rescue is a "no kill" organization. Adoptable animals stay with us until they find their forever home. In an effort to curb pet overpopulation and be part of the solution to the problem, we spay or neuter EVERY pet prior to adoption. We operate an adoption center in McDonough at 1950 Jonesboro Rd., in the Petsmart. Additional animals are cared for in foster homes and may be seen by appointment.

Additional adoption info

Please email us for an application at ffpetrescue@yahoo.com The application does not commit you to adopting, but helps us insure that your home would be a good match for the pet you are interested in prior to setting an appointment. Once your application has been received and approved an appointment will be scheduled for you to meet the pet you are interested in. We reserve the right to select the application that will best meet the needs for each pet we place.

Our adoption fees are $95 per cat and $150 per dog. We give a $30 discount for a second adoption if completed within 2 weeks of the first adoption. All animals are microchipped and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are also vaccinated for rabies and distemper and treated for any parasites such as fleas, worms or ear mites. Cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Aids. Dogs over 6 months old are tested for heartworms and are on heartworm preventative. All animals come with a free 4 or 5 lb. bag of Science Diet food, an instructional DVD and many valuable coupons.
