Quixote Humane

Dog rescue in Peralta, NM

Quixote Humane was formed in 2000 to assist other non-profit organizations to place their available animals. To provide education which will result in more successful permenant adoptions. To help raise awareness of humane animal treatment. We also are committed to assist in research and promote legislation to enhance animal regulations state wide.

Donate a BedWe have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our foster homes because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our babies though. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees are located in the bios for each individual animal through Quixote Humane. Please log on to www.quixotehumane.org to start the application process.

Most of the dogs have a phone number or e-mail address to get in touch with somebody that knows the dog's personality. If you decide to adopt you must download and fill out an application found at www.quixotehumane.org and submit it to the rescue director and the e-mail at the end of the dog's bio. We will call you shortly, however if you do not hear from us please call or e-mail that way we can make arrangements for a visit to meet the dog you are interested in, if you decide you do like that dog then a home visit can be arranged. If everything goes as planned we can then set up the adoption (usually in Bosque farms).
