We at All Creatures Rescue are dedicated to helping rescued, homeless, abandoned and
unwanted animals in the SW Louisiana/SE Texas area. We have come to realize that all creatures, large and small, need someone to help them. No one deserves to be without a home.
We are a volunteer only group, not a shelter, that operates through the loving care of our foster homes. We do not have a shelter to house our rescues so we are only able to take
in those who can be provided with Foster Care. All of are rescues are only placed into the most secure and loving homes, nothing else will do! We specialize in the placements of our canine and feline friends but
we will also assist in finding loving homes for Birds, Small Animals, and even Horses.

Additional adoption info
Our Adoption Process is as follows:
1) Download, complete, and return you adoption application to us by email.
2) Your application will be reviewed and your references checked. If you have not been on file with a Veterinarian in the last 3 years please complete that section of the form with 2 personal references.
3) Upon review of your application you will be notified of your adoption status with us.
4) If your application is approved we will contact via email to set up a convenient time to conduct a
phone interview.
4) Phone Interview- During the phone interview you
will learn all there is to know about the pet you wish to adopt. We will also set up time that is convenient
for all parties involved in which the Home Visitation will be conducted. *Please not that if you live more
than 30 miles from Lake Charles, LA you may be asked for photos of your home, yard, and fencing
prior to our visit*
5) Home Visitation- During the home visitation our representatives will request to see all parts of your
home and yard, especially the areas where your new pet will frequent. Please note that the pet you
are interested in adopting may or may not be present during the visitation. Upon passing home visitation we will complete all necessary adoption
paperwork and your new pet may or may not be left with you. There are instances where we will visit
your home more than once to help the rescued pet ease into his or her new environment while still being with the people they have learned to trust.
While are adoption process may sound lengthy, it is what we feel we must do to ensure our rescues have the best possible homes.
