Our organization was co-founded by Beulah Sherwood (a licensed veterinary technician) and Marjie O'Grady, both have previous experience in animal rescue. Our mission is to find permanent, loving homes for adoptable homeless cats and dogs both within and outside of our area. Pets are acquired from dog control officers, dog pounds, other rescues and private owners--many of these animals were rescued just prior to being euthanized! This is their last chance to find a family to love them and care for them as long as thery live. We think they deserve that, don't you?

Additional adoption info
All animals have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, heartworm tested negative and placed on preventative (dogs), felv/fiv tested negative (cats) and spayed/neutered if old prior to adoption. Animals are fostered in homes to better socialize them and get to "know" their true personality. Our foster "parents" pride themselves in getting to know our foster pets and are always willing to talk with people to help determine what thier perfect match may be. Pets are placed in indoor homes only. Veterinary references are required prior to adoption. Adoption donation: $95 kittens, $80 cats over 6 months, $275-$350 dogs/ puppies. Adoption donations are put toward food, bedding and veterinary medical bills of our rescued pets and normally only cover HALF of this expense! Funds are used so that we may be able to help the next pet waiting "in line" at our rescue's doorstep. All donations appreciated and put to good use continuing to help those pets that "knock" on our doors. Prospective families must reside within a 500 mile radius of Pulaski, NY; pets must be viewed in person prior to adoption/ pets will not be shipped to their new home
