Hope for Paws is a volunteer group. We advocate for the dogs and pups that are at our shelter in Hope, AR. The City of Hope Animal Shelter is the municipal shelter for the city of Hope, Arkansas. The shelter employs two, full time animal control officers (Tammy & Michael) who are part of the Hope Police Department. The officers do everything from answering complaint calls, cleaning the shelter, adopting dogs, investigating animal cruelty cases, giving testimony in court, and don't forget about office work!

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is easy. Once you have been approved for an adoption (you must be at least 18 and have suitable housing for a pet) you simply have to sign a statement agreeing to care for your new pet, have it spayed or neutered, and have a vet give it a rabies vaccine every year. Next, you pay the $75 adoption fee for adult dogs, $95 adoption fee for puppies and you're on your way! Animals already spayed or neuter have an additional fee added to their adoption fee. All pets adopted from this shelter are required to be spayed or neutered.
