We are an all-volunteer, no-kill, non-profit animal shelter formed in 1986 to find homes for the dogs, cats lost within our city limits. We are a California non-profit 501-C3 corporation # 33-0192138 so all donations are tax-deductible.

We are always in need of volunteers and have many areas in which you can share your talents. Please attend one of our volunteer classes to get started. More information is available on our website. **We are temporarily holding volunteer orientations on a limited basis - please email us for details**

We adopt out animals primarily to the Southern California area.

Adoption Fees
Dogs $150, Puppies under 6 months $225
Cats $75 over 5 years
Cats between 6 months-5 years $100
Kittens under 6 months $130

Dog adoptions include a written application and an on site interview. All family members, including other resident dogs, must meet the new dog.

The adoption process for cats and kittens includes:
A detailed application.
An interview with the potential adopter(s).
And a home visit, in some circumstances.

To ensure the best possible match for our cats and kittens, all applications are reviewed by our adoption committee and determination can take up to 48 hours.
