Chocolate Chip Dalmatian Assistance League (CCDAL) is a non-profit, all-volunteer, 501c3 organization dedicated to helping unwanted, abandoned, abused, and/or neglected Dalmatians find loving, permanent homes. We evaluate the temperament of the dogs, foster the selected Dalmatians in our homes, bring them up to date on vet care, spay or neuter, and provide socialization.
We generally do not take in owner surrenders for fostering,
but will assist the owners in finding a new home by posting their Dalmatian on our web site--provided they will continue to physically and financially support their dog until an appropriate, permanent home is located.
PRIMARY GOALS:
Rescuing pure-bred Dalmatians and Dalmatian mixes of good temperament from local shelters and finding appropriate permanent homes for them,
Educating the public about the Dalmatian breed,
Assisting owners with all aspects of raising a healthy, happy, well socialized Dalmatian,
Promoting responsible pet ownership,
Advocating spay/neuter as a means of decreasing pet over-population, and
Cooperating with other rescue groups and assisting them whenever possible.
