Founded in 1961, the Buddy Dog Humane Society is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to finding new homes for homeless dogs and cats. The Society is incorporated under Massachuetts law with one main objective, "Giving a new lease on life to impounded dogs and cats."
Buddy Dog shelters unwanted dogs and cats, in good health and of friendly disposition, which could, without help, be destroyed. These animals find refuge
at our shelter and can depend on becoming someone's pet again. There is no time limit on their stay. We accommodate approximately 3,000 animals annually.

Additional adoption info
The Buddy Dog Humane Society has guidelines that we follow when matching people and pets. Every adopter is qualified by a pre-adoption interview and application. The primary objective when handling an adoption is to place an animal in a situation where it is likely to succeed. Our main concern when an animal is adopted is that it goes to a permanent, loving new home.
