Basset Hound Rescue of New Mexico, Inc. is a non-profit organization. The purpose of BHRNM, Inc. is to save the lives of Basset Hounds from the streets and shelters in Albuquerque and other cities in New Mexico. We do not have centralized kennels as there are just a few of us working at this in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. We accept owner relinquish Bassets ONLY on a case by case basis and then we ask the owner to retain the Basset Hound until we can find a suitable home for the animal. We have a questionnaire/contract which the perspective adoptor must complete and our adoption fee is $100.00 per animal.
