Additional adoption info
We ask for a donation to help defray the organization's expenses for vetting our homeless animals. Our minimum donation suggestion is based on the age, health and temperament of the animal to be adopted. (average donation is in the $300 - $500 range) Transportation costs (approximately $225) are the responsibility of the adopter and include air fare if necessary, health certificate, and crate. A pre-adoption application (located on our website) is mandatory in order for us to try and match the right dog with the right home. If selected as a potential adopter, an interview is conducted and the applicant is screened carefully. Upon approval for adoption, the adopter must sign a formal agreement.
