Tara Farm Rescue is a nonprofit animal sanctuary located in Coventry, Connecticut. Tara Farm Rescue was started in 1982 as a safe place for unwanted horses. Through hard work, determination, and dedicated volunteer workers, the farm has grown and expanded to house cows, pigs, donkeys, llamas, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. When animals arrive here at Tara Farm, they are often not in great health and require veterinary attention. Our job is to make sure these animals get the medicine, care, and love they need to get back to good health and go to forever homes.
