Story
Diesel is just 10 years old with so much life and love to give! Diesel is goofy and playful, totally house broken. He isn't a jumper but more of a cuddle. He loves to snuggle up on his doggy bed right next to his humans feet. He would make an awesome companion for a family with children over 14 years old. He walks great on a leash and will go to the door when he has to relive himself. He has the best smile and does a dance when he is happy to see you. He knows many commands and works for treats!

Story
Meet Sprite — the tiniest spark of joy with a heart full of love. This playful, sweet and family-oriented girl puppy was born on July 26th, 2025. Sprite is a 10-week-old Dachshund mix puppy who already has a personality that shines bright. Out of her litter of six, Sprite is the calm and thoughtful one — a gentle observer who loves to play but also knows when it’s time to snuggle. At just 9 pounds, Sprite is the perfect mix of playful and peaceful. She adores her toys, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and can easily share space with cats. Each night she enjoys her dinner in her crate and sleeps soundly there — and during the day, she’s happiest curled up next to you for a cozy nap. Sprite’s curious nature and quiet determination make her stand out. She’s strong in body and mind — a little survivor who’s ready to discover the world with her forever family by her side. You’ll be amazed by her intelligence, charm, and the way she looks at you as if she already understands your heart. If you’re ready to fall in love with this bright little girl who will most likely be a 25 pounds Dachshund mix size, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to apply for adoption. ✨ Sprite is ready to light up your life — one cuddle at a time.PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Story
Meet Roo (a.k.a. RooBear, Rooski Bruski, or Roo Roo!) Roo is a 2–3 year old Blue Merle Great Dane adult who weighs 85 pounds and was found abandoned by a well-known lake in Tennessee. Someone rescued her from this terrible fate of no food or clean water and no place to be as she was wandering around the lake area very skinny and starved. She was so grateful when someone took her home. She then had different people foster her only for a few days at a time until this wonderful family saw her plight and need and said.....let us take her and foster her with a good rescue group. Now this big girl named Roo has some stability in her life and has earned the nickname “Velcro dog.” Of course this lost and abandoned girl who was deserted by a lake and then bounced a few times, wants to be right by your side and soak up every ounce of love and attention you’re willing to give her. She will learn one day that noone is ever going to abandon her again. This athletic girl has plenty of energy, loves to play with a happy spirit and and is an impressive olympic class jumper. She will thrive best in an active home. Food definitely motivates her and this makes it super easy to train her and get her undivided attention. Roo is house-trained, crate-trained, cat-friendly, and absolutely loves to snuggle in the bed with her humans. Roo bonds quickly and becomes very protective of her people so we will have tips on how to temper that zealous enthusiasm to claim you. She needs a family where she can be the queen of the castle and receive endless love and attention in return. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by you through everything, Roo is your girl! Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested. She is currently fostered in Tennessee and can be adopted locally and also can transport to a loving family that is northeast of Tennessee. We transport almost weekly on the weekends. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 15, 2025, 11:28 am

Story
Version 2: “Seal the Deal – The Coolest Puppy Around!” If charm were a color, it would look just like Seal’s shimmering silver coat! This one-of-a-kind pup was born in the heart of summer and has been stealing hearts ever since. Seal is a Dachshund mix baby with all the makings of a perfect sidekick—sweet, confident, and just the right mix of snuggly and spunky. He’s 10 weeks old, about 10 pounds now, and will likely grow to a compact 30 pounds of pure joy...his Momma Dachshund mix is 19 pounds and Dad unknown but smaller males on the property the mom came from.. Seal loves to hang out with his siblings, explore the yard, and be scooped up for cuddles (when he decides it’s time, of course!). Smart and adaptable, Seal is already crate trained, making strides in potty training, and getting the hang of both outdoor breaks and pee pads. Seal is the kind of pup who fits right in—whether he’s your one-and-only or joining a home with bigger dogs. What he really wants is someone who’s home often and ready to share life’s cozy moments with him. Don’t wait too long to “seal the deal” with this special boy—he’s ready to make your home brighter long before the holidays arrive. Story
This is Miley, our truly sweet Aussie mix girl born September 1st on Labor Day....appropriate for her momma who was IN LABOR on that day. Miley's lucky mom was rescued before she and her 6 siblings were born so she got a good start and has been well cared for since day 1. Miley is being fostered together with two of her brothers and they have a blast playing tug with their toys and chasing each other around their big outdoor play area. We're sure she would love another dog to play with, but also be ok with being an only baby and getting all the attention to herself. Miley is a little shy when meeting new people and needs time to warm up and get comfortable. She has made big improvements in her confidence since coming to her current foster home and is getting braver every day. Once she trusts you, you get all her love. We estimate that Miley's adult weight will be in the 50 pound range. Miley is ready to begin her life adventure. Are you the right one to share that journey with her? We will require a fenced yard for this girl so that she can live her life safely and with the freedom to run and explore in security. Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested making this lovely puppy a part of your life. Story
Georgia is one of those darling little girls who you know will light up your world as you raise her with love and guidance. This little Dachshund mix girl is going to have longer legs but definitely the Dachshund influence. She is the spitting image of her mom who weighs 20 pounds and is a girl that loves to explore and smell all the elements of where she lives inside and out. Georgia was born on July 26 and was raised with her siblings by a very devoted mom. As she has grown up she has found her personality to be one of fun, energy and loving cuddles and snuggles. Georgia is being crate trained and almost completely potty trained at just 10 weeks of age. She is 9 pounds and on her way to being an adult that might become at the most a 30 pound girl. This sweet girl is being fostered with big dogs, teenage children and would be find with younger that are 8 years and above and she is learning the house manners she needs. Crate trained, housebroken almost and just living a sweet puppy life with lots of attention and guidance. If you are interested in this little girl please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let us know where you live. She is ready for a new home and family to help her grow up to a joyous girl. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.
