Shelter FAQs

We specialize in serving adopters from Northeastern Illinois (Lake County, Cook County, McHenry County) and Southeastern Wisconsin (Kenosha County, Racine County, and Walworth County).
However, we are open to adopters from all locations as long as they are able to travel and complete Save-A-Pet's full adoption process and requirements. Local/State requirements may differ for importing a new pet so be sure to check your local and state laws if located outside of Illinois.
