Elmore SPCA is located at 556 Telegraph Road, in Peru, New York. All mailings to our shelter should be addressed to PO Box 686, Peru, NY 12972.
Best method of contact is by email to info@elmorespca.org. To reach us by phone, call 518.353.7755. Every attempt will be made to answer the large volume of calls as they come in, but our small staff may be busy with animal care and adoption processing, so no one may be available to answer. When leaving a voice message please speak clearly and provide numbers slowly, as often we are unable to decipher unclear messages. Please include, your name, phone number, and indicate the purpose of your call. We recommend you browse through our website www.elmorespca.org. Often answers to questions can be located there.
*Shelter space is guaranteed (on a 24/7 basis) to stray dogs brought in by dog control officers from towns that contract with Elmore SPCA.
*Per NYS Ags & Mrkts Law, to redeem a dog the owner must provide valid up-to-date licensing and rabies vaccination, and pay the town's/city's redemption fee.
*Owners surrenders are addressed by individual circumstances. Additional efforts, such as courtesty PetFinder listings, can be provided to help owners rehome their pets.
