Homeward Bound is a small, dedicated nonprofit and a registered animal shelter focused on humanely reducing the stray and feral cat population in Nemaha County, Kansas. Founded over 10 years ago, our mission began with a simple goal: to give every cat a chance at a better life.
We specialize in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, providing medical care, fostering, and finding loving homes for adoptable cats. Entirely volunteer-driven, we rely on the compassion and support of our community to continue our work.
As a registered shelter, every donation and volunteer hour helps us provide spay/neuter services, food, shelter, and care for cats in need. Together, we’re building a future where every cat has a safe and loving place to call home. Join us in making a difference!
