To adopt please email phillyjenkinsrescue@phillyjenkinsrescue.org and provide the name of the kitten on the photo. Please check out our page posts for adoption information and prcoess. Thank you!
Adoption Cost: $125 for Cats older than five months and $200 for Kittens younger than five months. Philly Jenkins Rescue charges an adoption fee for each cat, which helps to cover the costs of spay/neuter surgery, shots, microchipping, FeLV/FIV testing, and high-risk medical procedures before the cat is made available for adoption.
Adoption Process:
Philly Jenkins Rescue's adoption procedure is meticulously designed to facilitate an optimal pairing between felines and prospective adopters. Our primary objective is to provide a nurturing, secure, and enduring home environment.
The adoption procedure includes the following:
You must complete an application, interview one of our volunteers/board members, have a home inspection, and get written approval from your Landlord. Once we receive your application, our response time will be up to a week. Please be patient.Philly Jenkins Rescue expresses gratitude for the support and numerous applications received for our feline companions. It is important to note that our organization operates with the dedication of volunteers and regularly contends with a substantial volume of applications. Just to let you know, the processing of applications may require a timeframe of up to one week. Additionally, a cat for which an application has been submitted may be already in the process of being adopted. Once the process is finalized, we will share timely updates about adoptions on our Instagram and Facebook platforms. We appreciate your patience and understanding about this.
